RSSPresident of Chechnya meets OIC’s Head

Visiting Saudi Arabia, the President of the Chechen Republic of Russia Ramzan Kadyrov held negotiations with Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, the Secretary General of The Organization Islamic Conference, initiated by the OIC’s Head.
During the meeting Mr. Ihsanoglu pointed out that a certain number of member-states are eager to establish closer relations with Chechnya by signing bilateral cooperation treaties.
According to Zeyad Sabsabi, the Chechen Representative to Parliament, who attended talks session, the exact parameters as well as the signing procedure of the treaties remain pretty vague and are passing currently the detailed examination in the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Previously, Ramzan Kadyrov was also warmly welcomed by the Saudi King Abdallah bin Abdel Aziz al-Saud at his residence in Mina, attending a solemn meal arranged by the Saudi monarch for Muslim-sates leaders, making pilgrimage to Mecca.
King Abdallah bin Abdel Aziz al-Saud praised all positive changes, taking place in Chechnya, making emphasis on wide-range construction works.
